Pet care experience
Hey! My name is Monica and I am originally from Louisiana but relocated to Florida for work purposes. I have 2 cats & a medium size floffer along with having my spouse (ft in my profile picture) & my baby girl (4 mo currently) that all live in my house. We do have a nice size fenced in yard as well. Back home I took care of a few different types of animals & am very open to taking in any animal as long as they got along with my babies, human & animal kind alike. The pitties on my profiles are my original babies that I no longer have but they started this journey for me, my current puppy is the black & tan goofball you see featured after them followed by my two very healthy cats & then I just included some extra pictures of my family/furry friends I’ve watched over the years for reference. We do have plenty of areas to go for walks & I am a big fan of dog parks for socializing if it is allowed. I have experience with dogs and cats of all kinds as I’ve grown up with animals, have taken care of my own animals for 8 years now, & have been doing Rover & wag for about 4 years now. My dog was cared for very well by Monica! My dog being a clingy dog towards me, became comfortable around Monica and her pet family quickly, which shows a lot! I would definitely recommend her for watching your fur baby 🤍 she’ll treat your fur baby like her own and update you frequently with pictures and comments on how he/she is doing throughout the day!!
Monica was great! She went above and beyond what I asked and was extremely flexible. The boys loved her and she loved them. I will definitely be booking with her in the future!! Great with big dogs!!

Monica took great care of my 6 month old Boxer. I received pet boarding services for one week. She sent me pictures, videos, and written updates daily. Some of the pictures I received, were so good, I'll cherish them forever. In my puppy's time there, he went from being kind of shy and timid of other dogs and cats, but now he loves to play and engage with others and I can't put a dollar amount on that kind of experience. I highly recommend if Monica and her pets feels like a good fit for you and your dog, that you stop your search there and purchase her services. My boxer adores her, her pets and her home, and if I need services again, I'll look her way first!

In my home & at yours, I will treat your babies just like I treat mine, except for the disciplinary aspect. I am willing to pick up after them, care for them, play with them, etc. as needed whether that be being a little more active by going to the park or just enjoying cuddles on the sofa.

I'd love to know all about your animal before I interact with them just to know what to expect. I have no preference in breed and am willing to take in any animal that comes my way as long as they are friendly. I’ll typically always want to meet before taking them in though to make sure that everyone gets along!
A typical day
As said above, my complex does have a small dog park for exercise but I’m always up for walks as well; my car is big enough for travel to go find dog parks or go walk trails at some of the parks in the area

Availability
I currently run a fairly busy schedule as I am typically working 4 days a week at about 10 hrs a day but after work I usually go straight home to relax. I also have my partner who typically works mid day shifts while I work night shifts & i also have an in home baby sitter so we can usually have someone home most hours of the day. He is a huge animal lover just as I am & we love giving spoils. Although my schedule is hectic with work & a baby, I always manage to find time to do what I need to do & if I know I can’t meet your expectations, I will definitely let you know!
