My partner Shane and I have been in Chicago since 2008. During the week I work as a clinical social worker, providing therapy for children and families. We live in the North Center/Lincoln Square neighborhood in a 2 bedroom garden apartment, not far from Welles park. We have had our own dog, Bruno for about 5 years. Bruno is a sweet, lovable, squirrel chasing beagle mix who gets along fabulously with other dogs! We have found wonderful walkers and places for Bruno to stay through Rover so recently decided to join the Rover community and open our place up as well. Shane and I both grew up with several dogs and I have many years experience caring for other's pets in their home or ours. We both love to play inside and outside, would definitely be up for running with your dog if they want, and always love good long snuggles! I am available to care for any ages and providing special care your family member. I have experience with dogs requiring medication or extra walks. I am very patient and flexible in accomodating your needs, and Bruno is happy to meet new friends. Your pup will be treated as part of the family and I will happily send picture updates. There is a lot of love and fun here to go around! I am available Thursday through Sunday. I work weekdays but have extra time on Thurs and Fri to accomodate an extra furry friend. I will make sure your dog gets a walk before I leave and as soon as I am home! I will be the primary caretaker, with Shane here to help as needed.
