Experienced pet fosterers will care for your dog
Pet care experience
I grew up with Springer Spaniels and Jack Russels and we have been pet fostering since 2017. We have had all types of dogs in our care, often pairs from the same home. Usually the owners had become homeless or went into hospital and by looking after their dogs we prevented them from being rehomed. Unfortunately we can’t share photos of those dogs (it’s Pet Fostering Scotland’s policy) but you can see that the Glasgow area organiser of Pet Fostering Scotland has endorsed our ability to care for your dog. Sometimes it was for a week but we also looked after dogs for 6 months too. Pet welfare and happiness is important to us so you can rely on us to look after your dogs as if they were our own. We have had collies, spaniels, frenchies, bijon’s, sharpeis, Jack Russell and more. We are the ‘go to’ look after friends dogs as well. We love having dogs in our care temporarily and are now ready to offer this service officially. We don’t have our own pets so you can be sure we would give your dogs our full attention. We are still pet fostering for Pet Fostering Scotland and I also carry out home assessments for new fosterers. I passed the ITC First Aid for Dogs certificate at Edinburgh Cat & Dog home on 13/1/2024 valid until 31/1/2027.

Another great stay ❤️ Otis was so excited to see Monica and Danny again. He always has amazing adventure walks and trips to his favourite place- the beach! Always updated on how he is with messages a pictures. Highly recommend as always great peace of mind when i drop him offxxx
Booked a last minute overnight board which Monica was very flexible with. Eccles had a lovely stay. Plenty of updates and photos and Monica was very accommodating with drop off and collection times. Monica and her partner really do love dogs and this shows. Totally recommend and would rebook myself when needed.
Monica and Danny are very friendly. Our 2-year-old chocolate lab stayed for four nights and this was his first time being looked after away from home. He loves a big run around and lots of attention which he definitely got judging from the photos. He very quickly adjusted to their care and has equally adjusted just fine to being back home!
Our GSP Fred absolutely loved his week with Monica and Danny, he was at home from the moment he met them....he's a sensitive dog and this is not always the case, we cannot thank Monica and Danny enough and will not hesitate to book the again.

We are in the process of becoming licensed with Glasgow City Council for pet boarding. We have a walled enclosed garden so your dog will always have access to garden for sniffing and toilet breaks. Depending on our schedules, I will walk your dog before or after work and my partner will also walk your dog during the day too. If needed we can go out in the evening as well. Dogs don’t go upstairs in our house and they sleep in our dining room, although most boarders have preferred sleeping at the bottom of the stairs on the landing! I have carried out home assessments for Pet fostering Scotland when new volunteer fosterers are taken on so I understand how important a dog friendly, safe space is.

Information Monica B. would like to know about your pet
We have looked after dogs through pet fostering that often come with little or no information from an emergency situation. We have always been able to provide a calm environment for pets but if your dog has specific issues or things we need to know please do share that information so that we can care for them the best we can.
A typical day
We are happy to fit in with what your dog needs and love to go to our nearby parks as well as exploring further afoot to the Braes in Castlemilk and to the beach in Cardross. We are happy to throw balls and frisbees for your furry friends

I work 4 days but my partner works from home meaning your pets will have a lot of company. Sometimes he does have to go into the office but not very often. We love going for long walks at evenings and weekends as well. If it works for your pet I like to walk dogs in our care before I go to work in the morning and my partner likes to take them out in the afternoon. We will alter that to fit with your pet’s usual schedule.
