I was beyond satisfied with Mona and her family taking care of Bing during his stay. From the initial intake to picking him up at the end of his stay, Mona kept open communication and showed her knowledge of dogs and her visiting pack. The daily updates of his activities that included photos or videos put me at ease knowing he was doing well and enjoying his stay. I was able to enjoy my vacation ...
We cannot recommend Mona and Pardu enough. They took care of our three year old dachshund while we were travelling overseas. Mona and her family are the nicest and most caring, understanding and patient dog care givers anyone can imagine and they exceeded all of our expectations. Mona texted us daily very detailed updates about Roxy and included pictures and videos. It was so nice for us to know that Roxy was doing well while ...
Mona and Pardu took great care of 9 month old Lucy for us for one week. We were happy knowing Lucy was in a home environment in a nice neighborhood for walks. Lucy is a social dog and I am sure she enjoyed having other dogs around. We are having Lucy stay with them again soon.
Individual Care, One or Two Guests
Loving, Individual Care, for One or Two Dog Guests at a Time
We're an experienced, animal-friendly family (Husband, child and Me), in Poolesville, MD. We've taken care of dogs and cats most of our lives. Presently we offer boarding, house sitting, drop-in visits and dog walking.
However due to changing family circumstances (job, elder parent), we will be transitioning to house sitting, drop-in visits and dog walking (only), after September 4, 2017 ((Labor Day). We ...
What Mona would like to know about your dog
Jack, our dog, is very friendly, but I’d like to be sure he gets along with your dog. So, we should meet before your dog comes to stay with us. (This doesn't apply to traveling-dog-sitting; only if your dog stays with us.)
At the first meeting, I'd like to know about your dog's routine, feeding schedule/amount, and any medications your dog might need. I also try to get a sense of your dog’s temperament, and I ask you if he/she has any specific likes or dislikes.
If you haven’t told me before the first meeting, I’ll ask you about your contact information (vet and friend/relative) while you're away. For the peace of mind of those who board with me, I check every dog (or cat’s) vaccination record, and show you my animals' records.
I encourage you to let me know whatever else you feel is important, to make my care of your dog or cat successful and as comfortable as possible. I like all breeds of dogs, so no particular preference on breed.
