My little Westie Georgie gave us 16 extraordinary years before passing away last September. Georgie was a rescue but he is the one who, in all actuality, rescued us. He brought so much love, joy, laughter and adventures into our lives. Losing him has been the most excruciating pain I have ever felt. I am not ready yet to rescue another dog as Georgie is irreplaceable, but I want to pay it forward as he would have wanted it. I love dogs and am happy to welcome them at home while you are away. Your dog will be spoiled and well taken care of. I have experience with dogs needing medications as my Georgie was taking a few every day when he became a senior dog.

My sweet little "special needs" lamb's stay with Mona E. was short albeit warm and kind. His stay was truncated by a complaining neighbor's rant that he barked when left alone. It's the first "Sunny" has ever stayed outside of the family in his short time with me, and I am sure he thought he was being shuffled yet again to another home. Mona sent many photos and updates each day...so I could see his was a bit confused. I would recommend Mona E. and her lovely dog, George Micheal, to another pet owner who's pup is quiet and content.

I have a fenced yard but will always supervise your dog. I never let me Georgie out of my sight and will do the same for your dog. We do not have kids or another pet. You dog will be our #1 guest and the center of our attention. I will not restrict your dog to a specific area. He/she can jump on the couch and stay wherever he/she decides is the most comfortable spot in the house. When it comes to sleeping time I'm happy to bring your dog in the bedroom - it really is up to you and what your dog prefers.

Schedule will include lots of walks around Lake Johnson and unlimited playtime in the backyard or inside the house if the time doesn't permit to be outside.

Availability
I work from home and have all the time in the world to take care of your pet. I walk a lot and am happy to take your dog along if that will make him/her happy. I'm also quite ok if your dog is mellow and requires quiet space and time.
