After a successful campaign (complete with power point presentations and stickers) at the age of 9 to convince my parents to get us a dog, Max came home. He was my best friend for 13 years, the Head of our household, and a much better brother than the two human ones are. We lost him two guests ago and not a day goes by that I don't miss my guy. Just recently we lost our Queen Lucy, a stubborn and lazy 15 year-old terrier mix, who has left an empty place on our couch and in our hearts. Currently we have three beloved babies-- Jasper, a 5 year old Labrador mix and Captain of Trouble, and a 4 year old German Shepherd named Moose we rescued from a terrible situation. I love my dogs more than anything in the world, and miss them desperately-- they're at home with my parents in Connecticut. I'm desperate for some puppy love and to make some friends! I'm also experienced with puppies from 8 weeks of age, elderly dogs, shy/timid/reactive dogs, and administering medication. I have a special fondness for huskies, French bulldogs, labradors, pit bulls, and any rescue-- but love any and all dogs!
