I would want to know about the dog's potential medication and food schedule, their favorite activities, their regular walk routes, and how well they get along with other dogs and people. For a cat, it would be how high energy they are, their food (so they don't try to trick me into thinking they're starving, as cats tend to do) and medication schedule, and some of their favorite toys and activities.

I love to run around with high energy dogs until they're comfortably worn out, my family dog could run for hours without stopping and I absolutely adored it and loved to continue to play with her for as long as she wanted. I also, as a cat lover too, would love to do gentle activities and slow walks for dogs with less energy or senior dogs. With cats, I will go at your kitty's pace, as the most important thing for a happy cat is making sure you respect their boundaries.
