Pet care experience
Hello! I am a 25 year old teacher who moved to Columbia Heights from Maryland a three years ago. I am looking to make some extra money to supplement my teacher salary:) My family has owned a dog since I was five years old so I have a lot of experience caring for pets. I have dog-sit, cat-sit, and house-sit for many friends and family members, as well as through Rover for about a three years now. I have lots of availability in the summer months during the week and can be very flexible with my plans over the weekends and can make time to care for your pet. I love all types of animals and I am very active so if you need someone to walk your pet I’m perfect for that too! I also have a car so I can drive to homes that are further away. Since I moved to DC I have missed living with pets so I would love the opportunity to get to know yours!!

Molly did a wonderful job taking care of our cat for the week. She was able to give our cat her daily pill (which is no small feat) and was great with communication. She also left our apartment in great condition. We would absolutely book her again!
We had Molly drop in while we were out of town and she was amazing! I hope we can use her services again in the future!
Molly is a gem! We felt comfortable with her the second she walked in to meet our pets. She is warm, kind and a very conscientious house guest. Most importantly, she is clearly experienced with animals. We came home to happy pets and a clean home. She kept us apprised of everything that was happening with our pets and came up with creative solutions to meet their needs. We will absolutely hire her again to care for our fur babies!!
Molly took great care of my cat, Safari, while I was out of town for 5 days. She was consistent, easy to communicate with, and sent photos each visit. Safari is rather particular about his litter needs, but she did a great job. Looking forward to booking Molly again in the future!

I am very active and happy to take long walks, play at the dog park, or chill at home depending on your dogs needs and activity level. I have cared for dogs in lots of different areas so I am familiar with the city and it’s’ dog friendly areas by now.
