I’m a full time student at UK close to graduation and looking to fill some time and relax after classes. My current living situation is too small for the dog I have in mind, but I’d love to spend time with yours! I have owned golden retrievers since I was young, but have experience with handling all sizes of dogs with all different levels of temperament. I spend most of my time around my boyfriend's pitbull mix, as well as my mom's golden retriever, australian shepherd mix and newfoundland. I am most comfortable with medium sized breeds, such as retrievers or labs. I know how to socialize all sizes of every breed with others, control them when they get agitated/over-excited and administer oral medications. I do not have any formal veterinary training, but I believe with my years experience and love for all breeds I can be a great companion for this essential part of your family. I have a very friendly, welcoming, caring and protective personality, which I have found is perfect for caring for animals of all ages. Dogs are a big passion of mine, and my favorite way to destress. I'm working hard to gain even more confidence, experience and eventually to expand my care options. I will take your dog to a park, green space or neighborhood to walk them and play, but will always keep the owner's preferences in mind. I have a car, and am very flexible with my hours so scheduling is rarely an issue. I am willing to provide my own supplies, such as portable water bowls, leash/harnesses and waste bags.
