Weekends unavailable 7am-6pm. I am taking a Bsc Zoology course at university. I have previously been an animal management student at college. I currently work at a dog kennels and have previously worked at a kennels/sanctuary which provided me with many necessary skills. These included working with difficult dogs and providing the correct care and training to ensure they are able to live in another home happily and safely. Bathing, feeding, minor medicine administration and clean ups were also skills I picked up. I also discovered that dogs naturally feel safe around me and it is easy for me to create a bond with a dog, which should make you pup extra happy to see me after a few meetings! I also worked at a veterinary practice as a vet assistant which allowed me to learn a lot about how to safely restrain animals and administer medicine, how to bandage accurately and allowed me to understand further if an animal is ill and what to do in many situations. I know how to handle scared or nervous dogs and cats and how to calm them down. I have also been looking after family pets and family friends pets for many years of my life and absolutely love every minute of being around animals.
