I've been dogsitting (as well as babysitting) for neighbors and college professors for about five years now and have had a pretty good time doing so. I go to school in a pretty small campus in Indiana, so I'm very much use to making stops in between classes to check in on neighbor's dogs, letting them out for bathroom time, etc. I'm really used to playing/going on walks and runs with active dogs, but also have dealt with an old beagle several times; I hopefully have the bases mostly covered. Right now I'm a college student home for winter break and I have a car, so I'll be able to be fairly flexible with your dog sitting needs. If you're going out of town and need to make sure your dog has got a friend, I'm your gal!
