Pet care experience
My husband and I had a maltipoo that we recently had to say our goodbyes to. We turned to Rover because we were missing our furry friend, but not yet ready to commit to getting another dog. We decided to open our home to your four-pawed family members. We know how important and challenging it can be to find good care for your pets when traveling, especially as your dog gets older.

I am writing to express my sincere gratitude to Molly for the exceptional care she provided for my Rotti babies Nyx 2yrs old and Odin 3 month's. Molly went above and beyond to ensure both dogs were comfortable and well cared for during my absence . She followed our instructions to the letter, provided both dogs with plenty of exercise and playtime and showered them with love and affection.Molly seemed to understand each unique personality and quirks and responded to their needs with patience and understanding.Molly also kept me updated with many photos and videos. This was a huge relief for me, as it allowed me to relax and enjoy my vacation. Our basement is designed as the central space for the pets, especially when we are out of the house. I have one medium crate for those that would require a crate and one XL crate. I would expect you to provide the food, treats, leash, etc. for your dog. My boys and I love to play with the dogs so please feel free to pack a few toys that would be fun and safe for your dog.
A typical day
My neighborhood hills are great for walking! I love to start and finish each day with a walk and prefer a dog by my side.

Availability
I am a 4th grade teacher currently off work. I wake around 6:30/7 and go to bed around 9:30/10:00. I am completely available and my schedule is flexible as my husband often works from home and my two boys are 6 and 10.
