Understanding Dogs is the key
Pet care experience
I have been taking care of dogs since I was a kid. Growing up, my mom kept two chow chows, a golden lab, a black lab, and a shitzu-terrior. Every dog I have ran in to enjoys my company and I've enjoyed their's as well. I am that person that will pay more attention to a dog than a person. I understand them and know what a dog wants and needs. I have had 3 big dogs ( A Husky-mix, a blue pit, and a stray) and a little one( A Chihuahua) in the past. They were like my babies, but My ex wanted to keep them so I kept the little one. I keep a dog training book on hand the kept my dogs all well trained and well taken care of. I understand the different breeds and the personalities that comes with them. Your Dog will not be disappointed. I will be his or her best buddy.

I would like to know the personality of the dog to know what I am getting into so that I can prepare myself. If the dog doesn't like people then of course I would like to know. I will still dog sit him/her, but I would have to know these things. I don't want to go up to a dog and get bit because of no warning. If it's a mental issue, please let me know because that is a whole different thing. Lastly, I would like to know if the dog is on a diet and/or on some meds so that I can take care of the dog properly.
A typical day
This depends on the breed and the personality of your dog. If your dog likes to play or socialize I would take him/her to the park. If your dog is anti-social but still loves to play then we would stay home and I will play all day. If he/she likes to snuggle all day then we would do that. It all depends on what your best friend likes to do.
