Hey there! I'm Molly and am a lover of all animals! As a former pet hotel manager, I have several years of experience working with most breeds of dogs, cats and other household pets. I am comfortable with most special needs animals as well, including those that require medications. Although I do work a full time job, my schedule is very flexible allowing me to provide pet care near my home most days of the week and weekends. I currently have 2 rescue dogs of my own, one small breed and one large breed. They also have 2 cat siblings as well, and all of them are treated as members of the family. I would just need to know that the dog(s) get along with others. I do have a large and small breed dog in my home that love to play. I also have cats in the home as well. They typically keep to themselves when other dogs are in the home but they may come around from time to time. If getting along with cats is unknown, I am willing to have the dog in my home and if there is any behavior that seems aggressive to the cats, I can confine the cats to a different area of the house.
A typical day
Although my yard is not fenced, I do have a temporary play area set up in my backyard off the deck. This allows any visiting dogs to go out for potty and play unleashed, as some dogs do not like going out on a tie out. When visitors are over, I do gate my 2nd level and basement so dogs are only on the main level. I have lots of toys to play with and am home full time to allow for lots of supervised outdoor play and potty breaks.
