💛ABOUT ME- I grew up on a 25 acre animal farm, until I moved to my first house in Henrico where I opened up a doggie daycare at my home for 2 years. I have worked at & managed 2 high end local dog daycares & have worked in 5 local groom shops, before I decided to go into business for myself. I have been a professional photographer who specializes in dogs for over 10 years. I will celebrate your dogs b-days, holidays & give photos each time I'm with your pet. I opened my own photography company in 2016. I have photographed over 4,500 dogs professionally since, so I have vast experience with all breeds. I opened my own doggie daycare in 2020 called Barkyard Retreat, a private petite retreat for small dog breeds at my home that offered drop-in visits & walks at your home, for all dog breeds. I have recently moved to our new home in Glen Allen on a 1 acre wooded lot & absolutely adore the open space I now have for my own pets! Currently I am not offering doggie daycare at my house, since we are busy updating & working on home projects. I'm very energetic, & have a very loving affectionate personality, with lots of patience. I love spending my life with everyone's pets. My work leaves me with daily availability to enjoy walks at your home & neighborhood or just drop-in visits for your pets. I have 2 dogs of my own & have worked with thousands of doggies over the years of all breed types. I'm located close to Crump Park, which means I can take your doggie to the park for walks if your home is nearby! Your dog is in GREAT, experienced hands with me! Plus I have tons of patience that this job requires. I even offer pickup & dropoff services for small dogs & & other pets for either vet apts, daycare apts, or even grooming apts. Let me care for your pets, I will love them like they are my own. I have 2 dogs, 1 cat, 2 parakeets, & 3 chickens, so I very much love animals! ✳✴My Schedule- I'm self employed & am flexible during the week & weekends. ✴✳How Do I Care For Pets- For in home drop in visits & walks, I have a wrist attachment that I wear that I hook your dogs leash to, so that it can't be dropped when we are out on our walks. I always like to be aware if you think your pets are little escape artists, that way I can prepare & use extra caution when opening doors. Your pets will be safe & cared for with me & will always have lots of love, attention & fun. I take photos or videos each time I'm with your pets to send you & to put your mind at ease. That way you know they are getting the love & attention they all deserve.
