I recently hired Molly to house sit and care for my one-year-old puppy and senior dog during a two-night period. Unfortunately, my experience with her was extremely disappointing, as she failed to fulfill the agreed-upon responsibilities and provided only half of the expected care hours. From the very beginning, there were red flags. Molly missed our scheduled meet and greet without a valid reason, only mentioning that "time got away from her" after I reached out to her 20 minutes after the scheduled time. Despite this initial setback, I decided to give her the benefit of the doubt. Upon her arrival, I emphasized the importance of providing ample love, attention, and exercise for my energetic puppy. I specifically requested that she spend time with him from 4-8pm on both nights and 7am-10am both mornings. However, Molly fell drastically short of these expectations. She was present in my home for a mere seven hours instead of the agreed-upon 14 hours. To make matters worse, after just one hour of playtime on Saturday night, Molly decided to put my puppy in his kennel at 5:30pm, completely disregarding my instructions. She later messaged me to inform me that he had soiled himself overnight. This incident further highlighted her lack of commitment and attentiveness. When I expressed my dissatisfaction with her incomplete house sitting services, Molly responded defensively, claiming that she "didn't have clear instructions" and that she was "doing her best." However, I had clearly laid out the specific times multiple times, including during the initial request, the rescheduled meet and greet, and subsequent messages. If she felt unsure about any aspect, she should have proactively sought clarification from me until she felt comfortable and fully understood the requirements. As a Rover sitter myself, I had placed my trust in Molly's professionalism and expected her to handle the task competently. Regrettably, she failed to meet even the most basic expectations, providing only 50% of the agreed-upon care hours. This lack of commitment and disregard for my puppy's well-being is unacceptable. Considering Molly's inability to adhere to the agreed-upon schedule and her dismissive response to my concerns, I would strongly advise against entrusting her with any pet sitting responsibilities. I am genuinely disappointed by the level of care she provided and regret choosing her as my rover sitter.

Molly did a wonderful job taking care of our busy, active Australian shepherd this week! She was professional, compassionate, and communicated well with us both before and and during the job. Thank you Molly!
