Pet care experience
I've had dogs and cats (and a myriad of other small creatures) all my life and love the joy they bring to my day. For a long time, I couldn't have a furry friend myself, but I would frequently take on the dog sitting (or cat sitting) role for friends and coworkers. I'm happy to work with owners to make sure you feel comfortable. I love learning more about each dog or cat and helping them stay happy, healthy, and safe. I'm detail-oriented and will do everything I can to make this a positive experience for you, me, and (most importantly) the pet. I'm available mostly on weekends for walks and drop-ins. My weekend schedule is typically flexible, so I'm happy to discuss ideal times that work best for everyone. Happy tails!

I also always try to be cognizant of food and water levels, especially in the summer, to ensure every pet is getting their needs met!

I also always appreciate knowing what words are familiar to them (e.g., if they're crated, what does your family call the crate? If you're comfortable with me giving them a treat, what do you call it?) I look forward to working with you!
A typical day
I do love to take a stroll around the neighborhood with dogs and let them sniff everything they can find! If space allows, I love to play fetch and give them a chance to run. For my cat friends, I like to get on their level and ensure they feel comfortable with me so we can play or hang out (depending on their energy level!)

Availability
I work fulltime downtown, so I'm generally only able to assist with pet care on weekends. However, my weekend schedule is typically pretty flexible, so I love the opportunity to meet some new furry friends.
