I truly delight in animals!

Pet care experience

I’ve been caring for and training animals since I was a child going to “vet” classes in middle school, and later working at a dog rescue. I have experience working with service dogs in training, older dogs, puppies, and dogs who have had bad experiences with humans. I’m firm but kind, creating an environment for pets that lets them thrive within good boundaries. I take my dog and others’ to creeks, hikes, and out to play in the yard. If they’re among the slower of the four-legged pals, they can opt to snooze on the couch (or dog bed!) all day long. Your pet will be safe and have a blast with me.

Rylee had the best time at Molly’s house. Molly took her to do her favorite thing, swim in the lake, twice and came back a very happy doggy. I highly recommend her.

Though my daycare was shorter than expected I will definitely rebook when I’m back in town. Molly is friendly and has excellent communication skills. My dog Oliver was very comfortable with her from the start.

Molly was so great with Enzo. He stayed in Molly’s cute home in Moab for three nights. He became instant friends with her sweet dogs that I met, and Enzo seemed sad to part Molly’s side. Thank you so much!

Safety, trust & environment

If inside a client’s home I am respectful of their personal spaces vs. ones I’m welcome to be in. I love how comfortable pets are within their own homes :). My house is just south of downtown Moab where there’s less commotion. Being away from the traffic and noise of town, pets seem to feel more at ease even if in a new environment. We don’t have a fence but I can keep dogs on a long leash outside or just stay out with them. I’m happy to crate pets inside if needed, though my dog is basically free-range.

Let me know if your dog has behavioral or medical needs!! Just want to make sure that I can give them what they need and make sure everybody’s happy.

A typical day

I like to take dogs on hikes, especially on the trail behind my house! I feel comfortable with dogs either on or off leash, pullers, slow dogs, fast dogs, chunky dogs… show me what you’ve got! I’ve also got brain puzzles for dogs if mental stimulation is more their jam. I often take my dog to the dog park at lunch and generally love to hang out with them. Mine is allowed on the couch and bed but I can keep yours off if those are your rules.

I have a relatively flexible work schedule. I don’t work weekends, Friday afternoons, or Monday mornings. I typically come home for an hour during my work days to take the dogs on a mid-day hike or to the dog park or out to play in the yard. Most of my weekends are spent doing chores in the house with the dogs outside, or hiking/being outside with my dog.
