I have taken care of dogs for friends and family for over five years, ranging from a few days to weeks at a time. We do not currently have any pets, but love when we can have a pup over to stay awhile! We have three older children who like to play with them as well. Our yard is a large, wooded and fully fenced area to explore and run.

Molly is kind and caring, easy to communicate with, and takes wonderful care of my dog, Holly! Holly has a great time and enjoys Molly’s big fenced in yard. Molly and her family plays with Holly and takes her on walks. Molly sends lots of photos and video updates. I highly recommend Molly!

Our yard is excellent for your dog to have lots of running space in a safe, privacy-fenced area. There is a section of the privacy fence that is only 4 feet tall that is shared with a neighbor with dogs (who are friendly). It is important to us that the dogs we host will not be able to jump over that section. We are a family of five, and are home most all the time to interact and play.

Let me know if your dog has specific likes or fears ahead of time. It would also be helpful to know if they are people or dog aggressive. This matters if I am going to take your dog on a walk in a public space.
A typical day
I like taking dogs for a walk or throwing the ball with them in the backyard. Our three children are also happy to play indoors and outside with them. we have on occasion also taken the pets we care for on mountain bike trails for hikes when the weather is good.

I only work two days a week, and someone is always home by 3-4 pm. There’s only a small amount of time the dog will be required to be kenneled when we’re away.
