In order to care for your pet to my best ability, it is super helpful to get an overview of the dog’s daily schedule - when they typically go out to go potty, eating times and how much food to give them, any medicines that need to be taken, treat times, etc. It is also helpful to receive any behavioral notes about your dog - whether they are aggressive in certain situations or like to escape and need to keep an eye on them. I also require you to leave a list of emergency contacts including your vet and preferred animal hospital should anything go wrong.

The activities really depend on the dog’s personality - I love to curl up on the couch and read a book when I’m watching cuddly dogs, or spend an hour playing fetch if they are more active. I am a big believer in going on different routes when walking dogs so they have new sniffs to explore!
