Pet care experience
For the last 15 years I have been working with children birth through five. For about 10 of those years I have been babysitting and providing overnight care for children and the family pets. I have also provided dog sitting and cat sitting for over 15 families now for when they go on vacation. I love to go for long walks with dogs and cuddling on the couch. I also find ways to make the pets feel safe with me. I have loved my experience of helping others so they don't have to board their animals.
Reviews
Mollie was my go to cat sitter when we lived in the same town. She not only made sure my two cats were fed and safe, but also showered them with love. It's always hard to be away from my furbabes, but Mollie made it easier because I knew there we happy and safe. She made sure to keep me updated with frequent pictures and messages.

I prefer to stay at the client’s house since mine does not allow dogs. I am happy to clean the home after my use and try to be very respectful of the clients home.
Information Mollie L. would like to know about your pet
When I do overnights I always ask for their vet information in case of an emergency. For older dogs (close to death) I asked for the family to have a plan if the dog were to pass while in my care. So leaving a credit card and information in case of an emergency. Also providing enough food for the dog during my stay and plenty of treats and dog poop bags. If there is anything off limits for the dogs, I ask for that information ahead of time and to know their triggers.
A typical day
I love going on long walks with the dogs. I usually like to find new spots to have the dog stimulated and have opportunities to smell new things (that makes them smarter!) for dogs that need a lot of exercise, I love bringing them to dog parks or playing a bunch in the back yard. While living in Colorado, I would bring the dogs (who were not too old) on hikes with me! They loved it !

Availability
I work about 37 hours during the week and available after 5pm on weekdays and available all hours during the weekends. I am available for overnight care. I am a teacher and it can be hard to leave in the middle of the day to check on them, so I prefer dogs that can hold it for awhile. If this is the case, I make sure to give them all of my attention in the morning (long walks!) and then immediately when I get home!
