Pet care experience
Hi there! I am a chipper hiker/biker from Michigan and work full time for the Forest Service here in Boise. I have a B.S. in wildlife biology from Michigan State and moved around often to monitor wildlife. Spent the last 5 years in Tucson and JUST moved to Boise! ❤️ I grew up with big and small hunting dogs that eventually turned into home pets and, luckily enough have had many opportunities to dog sit and walk for friends whenever I can. Everything from Saint Bernards to mini dachshunds and 22 year old cats to 8wk old puppies. Thanks to my own puppy-owning experiences I am very comfortable around pets still learning and happy to implement any training style you’re using. I love training tricks, giving puzzles, throwing a ball, anything to tire out a dog to keep him/her happy. And not to mention cats! I love them as well, although true to cat-stereotypes I’m sure they don’t enjoy me as much as I-them. I am happy to take care of cats, I’ve lived with several throughout the years. I also know plenty about taking care of chickens, ducks, turkeys, turtles and snakes thanks to growing up with them as well. Not sure if that’s a part of Rover, because they don’t exactly need to be walked 😅
Reviews
Mollie was great watching my dog and home over a major holiday. I got frequent updates and pics of a very happy dog. Mollie left my house absolutely immaculate and was a great communicator throughout. I would definitely recommend her for your pets.
Mollie was great! It was easy to set up the meet and greet with the dogs. She took excellent care of my 2 dogs and my house. She communicated promptly, was professional, pleasant and reliable. Thank you Mollie!! 🐕🦺🐕
We are so lucky to have met Mollie to help us with our pets and our home. She went above and beyond taking care of everything! We came home from our trip to happy animals and a clean home! Mollie sent pictures and communicated with us throughout our entire trip. We will absolutely book Mollie for future pet sitting. Thank you Mollie.. you are fabulous!!!
Mollie was great with my two cats! She even took care of my hermit crabs as well.

Skills
Safety, trust & environment
I treat the pets and space with the ultimate respect and do my best to keep their routine and environment as stable as possible with their favorite humans gone. Giving pets a little extra time, care, and enrichment is important to me. Also for overnight house-sitting I will always wash sheets/towels, vacuum, clean yard/litter box, take out trash, etc - it’s a goal to leave your home as clean as when I got there so that you have a comfortable clean home and your darling pets to come home to :) Fewer chores for you while you ease back from your trip!
Information Mollie L. would like to know about your pet
No breed preferences, all dogs & cats are good! It would be helpful to know any allergies, medications, temperament or social skills with other dogs or cats (should we encounter any on a walk), favorite toys or activities. Also good to know what skills/obedience training you’re working on or would like to be worked on, so I don’t use differing phrases.
A typical day
I am an avid hiker/walker/runner, so if they are up for it I am happy to take a dog with me for a hike or walk on the trails, pavement, or just around the park. I'm really happy at any speed as long as the dog and I are enjoying the outdoors. If they're more of a laze-around-the-house type of pet, that's a-okay, too :) I like to train tricks and get their brain working just as much as walks.

I work in Mountain Home and Idaho City but have a pretty flexible schedule and typically telework on Thursdays & Fridays. I can flex my time around work to accommodate meal times and walks.
