A pet loving Firefighter
Pet care experience
I’m a full time firefighter/paramedic and get 2 days off in between shifts and trying to spend those days off with cute friendly animals. I have a small Jack Russell Chihuahua mix (check the gallery) and have had her for 9 years now. I’ve taken care of my friends’ dogs whenever possible. I’ve had roommates with dogs that love me and my little brother has a cat I take care of occasionally. I’ve walked multiple dogs of all ages and breeds that bark or are very shy at first but eventually warm up to me.

Moisés did a great job dropping in to feed and check on our cats. Very nice and thorough person. I definitely recommend him.
This was our first time using Rover, and with a territorial Doberman we were a little apprehensive. Moisés’ reviews and background made us comfortable to choose him and with his report cards we knew we made the right choice. We are beyond satisfied with what a wonderful job he did, we couldn’t be happier and will be booking with him again.

I currently do not offer boarding due to renting and following guidelines. I can do drop-in’s and/or sittings at the pets place. I am very courteous and follow all the rules set in place at your home.

Knowing their age and personality (shy, aggressive, friendly, skittish, triggers, etc) is great to know so I can start formulating a plan before I arrive. Any special needs is great to know. For example if they’re blind or deaf, I will know to let them smell me, speak more, or touch them so they know I’m there.
A typical day
I like to play with a squeaky toy. That usually gets their attention and then playing a little tug of war with them. If there a fenced in dog park the playing fetch is a great activity for active dogs. I can with them if needed.

I work 2-3 days a week and have a full day off in between those days. So I’m available in the mornings after 8:30am, afternoons, AND evenings.
