Hi! My name is Moira, and with me, you can be assured that your dog is in excellent hands,meaning keeping them safe and active, and of course receiving tons of love and affection! I have six years of experience pet sitting for family and friends, and I currently work at a dog daycare part time. I have been working here for two years, and in that time have gained so much information and knowledge about the canine mind and behavior. I have lots of experience with kennel work (feeding, oral and topical medications, older dogs, bathing, etc) as well as experience supervising 50+ dogs of all sizes and ages at once on a busy day. Working with dogs/animals is truly my passion, and has been pretty much since I was a baby. I can care for any size or age. I can also care for cats or other small animals as well (I currently own a 3-year-old cat named Bella) and I have even cared for two pot belly pigs. I completely understand how difficult it can be to leave your baby behind while you are busy at work. I will leave you feeling satisfied knowing your dog is having an awesome time by keeping you updated on how they are doing, if they pooped or peed, how long of a walk we took, as well as frequent pictures! Here are just a few things to keep in mind if you chose me to care for your pet: Boarding in my home: -I am only able to accept small to medium sized dogs in my home. I live in a bungalow style home, which may not be the ideal space for some bigger dogs. I do have a unfenced, medium sized yard, great trails near by for long walks, a lake house in the summer with a dock, and a fantastic dog park near by. I also own a cat who gets along very well with small to medium dogs, but anything larger than that unfortunately may not work out. Dog Walking/Drop-Ins: -I can almost always accept last minute walks. Please don't hesitate to reach out to me! -I am available for dog walking/drop-ins in the towns of Waterbury, Watertown, Middlebury, Hamden, Cheshire, Southington, Wallingford, Naugatuck, and Prospect. If you do not live in one of these towns, just message me and we can possibly work something out. Pet sitting (in your home): -I am able to provide this service in the same towns as above. My work schedule changes every week, but I only work part time. Due to this, during the week I am able to give potty breaks/feedings/other necessities every 3-5 hours. On the weekends, I am usually off so I am pretty much always available.
