I am a long term personal and professional animal person. I have worked at a zoo, as a vet tech in an exotic animal hospital, at the animal shelter, and as an equine masseuse. I'm new to the Dallas area as my husband got a job here and we moved from Indiana. I'm comfortable with all types of animals so if you have an exotic pet, or need a farm sitter, I could be your person. I love dogs and cats as well but my specialty is in the everything else category. My college background is in animal bahavior, so I come at animal care and training from the perspective of the natural behaviors and responses of the particular animal. As a former vet tech, I know how to assess potential illness or injury and make educated judgements about what is needed in the case of something going wrong.
