Pet care experience
We've had a family dog since I was little, so I know the basic day to day routine of a dog. I'm used to handling older dogs and puppies, but I have nothing against teenage or toddler dogs. I'm also good at following instructions.

Miya took great care of our three girls over Christmas, and kept us updated with pictures. The dogs seemed very happy when we got back home. Miya goes the extra mile and truly wants to know the ins and outs, and quirks of your pets! Will definitely be using Miya again!
Miya cared for my Beagle “Snoopy” off and on for many years. She was attentive to him and went out of her way to play with him. She even went with him occasionally to the vet. I think she was a great sitter.

Information Miya P. would like to know about your pet
For me it's important that I know if your dog has some quirks about them that might make it harder for me to handle them. I'd also like to know what kind of trouble they're used to making such as, if they try to run away often or get into their food when they're not supposed to, so I can prevent it. Lastly, I would like to know where their sweet spot is or what type of snacks they like. Basically, so I can get on their good side and make them the most comfortable that I can.
A typical day
I like to do mental enrichment with dogs, involving food, where they have to sharpen their location skills. Dog sitting is a good excuse to explore the city, so I'll take them to various parks (if allowed) and we'll explore together. We'll probably go to more grassy and shady areas since its very hot.

Availability
I don't have much more to do with my day other than give your dog as much love and attention as you would if you were there. I'm a student so I'm not doing much, if anything at all, during the summer. With me around, they won't even know you're gone!
