Miya was punctual and a very attentive dog sitter when she was ACTUALLY watching my dog. However we booked her for 2 consecutive overnight stays and she left at 1:30am both nights and I had to text her to come back and let my dog out (showing up at 9am and 9:30am consecutively). I do have ring cameras and shared this with her during the meet-n-greet. So I have proof that she never stayed. My dog is not used to being alone overnight by herself that is why I booked house sitting. When I questioned the first night she said she had to go home to clean up her dogs diarrhea. Not until the second morning did she say that her parents decided to go away for the weekend and couldn’t stay the night. This was never communicated to us until we questioned her about leaving again. She said that she would refund me and charge for drop in visits, but has not contacted me since leaving my house to do so. I have reached out to Rover to see what my options are at this point in time. I would not recommend Miya to anyone who is looking for a reliable, dependable pet sitter.

Miya was wonderful with my senior boy Casper. My mom is in the hospital and was having a pretty major surgery and i wanted to be up there with her. This left me trying to find someone to watch Casper because he has separation anxiety and really can’t be left alone because he barks the whole time. I wasn’t sure how long I’d be up at the hospital so i needed to find a sitter quickly without much notice. As a pet sitter myself i can be pretty picky on who watches him but Miya was the perfect match I’m so glad we found her! She took him on two nice walks, and even though he just likes to sniff and walk she still took him on walks which he really enjoyed! She even brushed him when he got back from a walk in the rain! She spent the whole day with him just hanging out at our place. She sent me lots of pictures too. I knew he was in the right hands. Thank you so much!
