Klifton and I have 15 years of experience as puppy raisers with the service dog organization Canine Companions. We focus on positive training techniques to provide your dog with a fun and loving home away from home. Our expertise is with puppies 2 years old and under. However, we've loved and cared for dogs of all ages. Our home has a large fenced yard backing to North Table Mountain Open Space.

This was Kodi's first stay with Mitzi and Klifton K. Based on a great reference from personal friends, we were so happy that Kodi had a chance to join their pack over the weekend and continue learning all the great ways to be a part of a playful pack. She was a rescue off the streets in NM, and is learning such positive ways to become a great dog. Mitzi & Klifton are top pro dog folks who have created a robust and safe environment for the pups. Loved getting daily reports and photos of pack play, and the hard copy photo of Kodi as a visual gift of her weekend there was a bonus. Expanding Kodi's dog care options with them was a success. Caring for your dog is our priority. Mornings are dedicated to walks, backyard playtime and hanging out with the big toy basket. Afternoon naps are enjoyed in sunspots and on comfy dog beds located around our home. Happy hour includes fetch and more backyard playtime. Evenings are for snuggles and belly rubs. Klifton works from home and I work 3 days a week outside the home. Our flexible work schedule ensures your dog's needs are looked after.

Please let me know if your dog has any health or behavioral concerns. All clients must show proof of vaccination for DAPP, Rabies, and Bordetella. Dogs must be spayed/neutered. Kennel trained preferred.
A typical day
Dogs in our care enjoy walks, playtime in our big fenced backyard, and fetch. There is also a large toy basket filled with all types of balls, squeaky toys and chew toys. Boarding dogs enjoy evening snuggles and are tucked in with a bed time cookie.

Availability
Our dogs, Kay, a 14 year old Labrador Retriever and Roulette, a 4 year old Lab/Golden love doggie guests. Kay and Roulette enjoy running in the backyard, hikes on North Table Mountain and naps. Both dogs are well socialized, fully vaccinated and crate trained.
