I am a retired teacher who loves animals. I do not have any dogs or cats of my own, because it is hard to leave pets for vacations or for even an occasional overnight trip. I also do not like to see a pet left in a house for an extended day without access to relieving themselves outdoors. I do have a pet chicken who loves the company of dogs. She has a run that she can be put in, if a dog is just not chicken friendly. My yard is fully fenced, with buried chicken wire for the digging pet. I have had pets all of my life, and treat them like special babies. I just know what pets are thinking and are trying to communicate. I will not let your pet grieve or get lonely while you are away. This is a quiet house with limited guest visits, and no children. Lots of time to love your baby.
