I had my first pet when I was 5 years old, my cat Charlie and he lived to be 17 years old. He loved playing with his stuffed animals and feathers. My responsibility was to feed him and keep his litter box clean. I got my first dog, Molly, when I was 12 years old. I found her on the street and BEGGED my parents to keep her and thank God they did because she was my best friend! She lived to be 16 years old. Most recently, I got a puppy named Max last August and he’s been the most wonderful challenge I could’ve asked for in a pet. He’s loving and sweet and loves to play, but he certainly has taught me patience. He’s a bishon-Yorkie mix and was difficult to potty train, but since I was able to potty train him I do believe I could potty train any dog! Animals are a passion of mine and I love them all! I can also take care of fish as I always had a fish tank growing up. I work during the day anywhere from 7am to 4pm but my work schedule can be flexible to accommodate your pet’s needs! I can leave during the day around lunch time, or any time really, to do drop in visits. I can walk dogs in the evening. I take my dog Max for walks every morning and on most evenings as long as it’s good weather. I feed him 2-3 times per day depending on how hungry and active he seems to be that day. He is allowed to sleep wherever he likes, although he does prefer his crate as we’ve spruced it up with his bed, blankets, and all his favorite stuffed animal toys. We did crate him as puppy before he was potty trained since my wife and I work during the day, but now we do not. He is a loyal companion who is often spoiled with treats for being the goodest boy there is!
