Pet care experience
Growing up, my family owned a dog for 22 out of the last 23 years. We had a Lab and a Border Collie for the first 10 years of my life and then for the last 12 years my family had another Lab. Based off of these experiences, I love all kinds of dogs and am responsible for feeding/giving water, walking, and picking up after my pets. I am a very active person and love walking, hiking, and running with dogs, as well as any other fun activities permitted by their owner. I have cared for dogs throughout their lives, so I am experienced with dogs of all ages and fitness levels. I have a spacious, quiet apartment that allows pets with access to a large fenced-in grass area which would be perfect for playing with a pet. I wish that I could have a dog of my own but work prevents me from being able to be home from 10am-5pm most weekdays, so Rover is the solution to my problem! I would love to care for your pet!

Mitchell was awesome. We did a meet and greet, and he was flexible with our pick up and drop off time. He sent me many updates and pictures of our little pup, which is so comforting to me. Iggy doesn't always warm up quickly to people, but he seemed to relax and had a good time. I would not hesitate to have Mitchell watch Iggy in the future. Thanks again for taking such good care of our little guy!
Mitch is one of the nicest (and funniest) people I know. We became friends 4 years ago when we were freshman in college, and have remained close since. I am very protective of my dog Arby (almost to a fault), but he's the only other person I let take care of him– they've become good friends over the multiple weekends I've been away from the house. I'd feel very comfortable leaving him responsible for any pet(s)!
I can personally vouch for the integrity and reliability of Mitchell Donahue. I have known him his entire life-23 years. He has always loved dogs and pets. Growing up, he was always around pets; mostly dogs. I know that; and I have seen Mitchell walk dogs, groom dogs, play with dogs, feed dogs, supervise, and most of all enjoy them. Mitchell works out and is physically fit and could easily walk 3-5 dogs at a time, I'm sure. Knowing him, he would prefer (1) one at a time, just because he likes giving them special attention. I have been using Mitchell as a babysitter for my yellow lab, Sunshine, since she was a puppy. Besides being a dog lover, Mitchell is very responsible and communicates really well. He puts my mind at ease when I have to head out of town. And I know that Sunshine really enjoys her time with Mitchell as well- she is always so excited to see him. Overall, I highly recommend Mitchell as a dog sitter.
