I have owned dogs since I was a young child (Burnese and Newfoundland). I had a collie Shepard mix who just recently had to be put down due to old age. I currently have a 2.5 yr old malamute Pyrenees and a 5 month old Great Pyrenees/lab mix. Have experience mostly with medium to large size dogs, but do not have any preference. My dogs are crate trained, 1 is currently crated while out of the house and my older dog has free range of the house (I do have the option to close a door and separate), but am open to whatever your preference is for your dog. I have 2 daughters who are very interested in helping with dogs, so we can also help get your young dog accustomed to children and socialized! At our home we have a fully fenced in yard, are in the village with plenty of good places to walk, trails and a dog park nearby. Your dog will have a lot of socializing and fun staying with us! We would also love to help your dog not be home alone all day trying to hold it, so will be available on the weekends and certain weekdays to drop in to give a little love and a potty break! I am currently working part time 9-5pm Monday Tuesday and Thursday. I am available any other day or time! I can board on weekdays and I am home Thursday after work until Friday morning for weekends! I have experience letting dogs out during the day while family was on vacation or taking for walks. I can board any day, but do work full days Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.
