Ive like a cross between a doggie Mary Poppins & that nutty fun aunt you had as a kid. I study & work from home so my schedule is fluid. I can pop in 1-3x a day to check their well being,give food, water, meds as well as play, mental stimulation & lite exercise. We have large dogs myself so I work with a lot of pit bulls, Great Danes, labradoodles as well medium to small canines, ferrets, cats, & even reptiles!! But lets talk DOGS! The thing I love most about dogs is their soulful smiles ...such a pure and wonderful thing .My goals is to take care of you & your companions security, & physical comfort. There’s nothing better than seeing a happy pup thrive with all the love, care, order & fun they need. Ask about my long term & multi pet flexible rate structures! Background overview: I have had dogs my entire life. I have two labs right now, one of which is a working human remains search and rescue dog. Both are from the local lab rescue. In addition to being a dog owner, I’ve also been a long-time volunteer with the SPCA in the given towns that I lived in. At one time, I used to raise working German Shepherds trained to be police dogs. I also have a lot of experience with rescue Pit Bulls. I also take CE classes on first aid and dog psychology training. Dogs teach me lessons every day! In addition to dogs, I have had horses, birds (chickens to ducks to parakeets), rabbits, cats, fish and a turtle. I have worked with birds of prey. I do know how to feed reptiles as well. When taking on a new client, I do like to schedule a meet-and-greet. That way, we can make sure that we’re all a good fit for one another and chat face to face about what makes your pup tick! I am keen on keeping the pets in a safe environment while they are in my care, and that begins by getting as much information as possible from you to make sure that your pup feels completely safe and comfortable under my care. As far as breeds go, I have no breed preferences I know some people can feel a bit intimidated by large dogs such as Danes, German Shepherds or Pit Bulls, but I just can’t get enough of them! When your pup is under my care, their needs are foremost. I’m very communicative with my new four legged guests, and make sure to be attuned to their needs and wants. I know that dogs are creatures of habit, so I like to try my best to emulate the environment they have when you are home. That means sticking to their regimen and schedules so they don’t feel anxious. I follow owners’ instructions, but am adaptable to each situation. I want the whole animal household to be secure when I’m asked to tend to your animal companions.
