Lover of all animals!
Pet care experience
After a brief hiatus due to life and losses, I’m back and ready to snuggle your fur (and non fur) babies! I have two dogs of my own that are still my babies, despite them being 10 and 14. We’re lucky to have them in our lives!! I have two human kids, ages 18 & 11. This past spring, we adopted a curly hair tarantula. I’m happy to care for any and all animals. I’ve cared for everything you could imagine from common pets to lizards, caterpillars, and the occasional orphaned wildlife. I’m wiling to learn any skills for any animal you have. I’m comfortable giving meds, including subQ fluids, if ever necessary. You can be assured that your pets will be cared for and loved as if they were my own. We will help each other get exercise and energy out, then snuggle and bond. They’re sure to be happy (and hopefully tired) upon your arrival home. We’ll become great friends, no doubt!
Reviews

Missy was amazing with our pup. She was attentive and affectionate, even made her homemade toys.

Missy was wonderful with my shy boy! She was great at communication and worked hard to make sure he was not sad while I was away. He actually looked a little disappointed that it was me when I returned he had such a good time with her! :)

Fantastic communication and care for our Husky and cats! We highly recommend Missy and look forward to having her care for our pets again!

Everything was perfect as always!

Safety, trust & environment
I am vigilant about leashes and watching for any possible escapees anytime doors are opened. Slow walks, jogs, playing fetch, or just being bums and snuggling. I'm happy to do whatever makes your fur babes happy. I always try to keep their schedules and environment similar to what they are used to. My goal is to have them as happy and comfortable with me as they are with you.
Information Missy W. would like to know about your pet
How well they do with new people. What I should watch for. Are there certain things that trigger nervous behavior? Anything that will calm them and warm them up to me. Best way to approach them. Favorite toy. Commands they know (down/off, crate/bed, etc. dogs have different commands so that is helpful). Any toys they may be possessive of and should leave alone.
A typical day
I would love to take brisk walks, slow walks or even jogs depending on the dogs activities. If there's a dog park or fenced in home yard, fetch or frisbee could last for hours. I usually keep at least one tennis ball in my Jeep at all times. You never know when you’ll see a dog needing to play. Belly rubs and snuggles of course.

I'm a mom with two school age kids and also attend college. Stopping to see animals during my day is a joy. Overnight stays at your home work great. Some pets like to help me with my homework. I also rehab wildlife so I rarely have a day that I'm not caring for more than just our two dogs.
