Pet care experience
Starting at age 12, I was the go-to neighborhood kid for all things pet-sitting! I used to even tell people that my dream job was to become a Professional Dog Walker - long before Rover ever existed! My family has had dogs my entire life, and I’ve had my own rescue dog, Ozzie, for 5 years now. Ozzie is getting into his golden years which has affected his anxiety levels a bit, so I’m familiar with caring for senior and nervous pups. Additionally, I’m also familiar with cats, having two of my own, Suki and Wednesday. Whether they want to hang out like Suki or avoid humans at all costs like Wednesday, I’d love to hang out with you furry feline friends as well!

Missy was super accommodating with a last minute request and communicative!
Missy was wonderful with our two senior cats. She left detailed notes about each visit and took extra time to give them attention during the drop ins. She was reliable and showed up around the same time each day. She was tidy and offered to help with a couple things around the house too. Will definitely book again!
Missy is so accommodating and did great with my cat! She did an excellent job and gave great updates. Super friendly, very good at figuring out just what you need for your pets.
Missy did a great job taking care of my kitties for a few days! She really tried to get my semiferal cat to eat even though I knew she would hide and be on a hunger strike!

I treat all pets as if they are my own! I know that every pet has their own unique set of needs, so I listen to the pet owners when it comes to their furry friends. I always get to know how often pets should be let out, fed, played with, etc. Does your dog like to play fetch in the yard or cuddle up on the couch? Does your kitten want to chase the laser pointer or sneak in cabinets? I can’t wait to find out!

A typical day
I love a good walk, but I know pets need more than just that! Whether it’s running around in the backyard playing fetch or trying to get the kibble out of a doggy-puzzle, your animals will be getting their physical and mental workouts! The Springs is home to some beautiful walks, and with the pet owners OK, I love taking walks to explore the local areas.

Availability
Being a teacher, I would love to stay busy this summer, and there is no better way to stay busy than hanging out with some furry friends! I am free all days starting in mid-May until the beginning of August. I am available for regularly, occasional, or one-time drop-in visits or walks!
