Pet care experience
I grew up with a male and female Siberian husky as family dogs. I shared care responsibilities for 13 years. My 16-year-old Siamese kitty recently passed. I had her for 15 years of her special life. I care for a friends 6-year-old calico cat about every other month when her owner goes out of town. I love dogs and cats of all kinds.

Missy is so good with my old man cat! She's a wonderful communicator and is super responsive which puts me at easy when I'm out of town. She specifically lets me know the details of her visit. Highly recommended!

When boarding, your pet would be mostly inside my house when staying with me. Or outside in my backyard/garden hanging out with me (dogs). I have a large converted garage (carpeted nice room with air conditioning) connected to a laundry room - perfect for litter boxes. If crated, this is where your baby would be. I also have warm pads for those who need a little extra comfort. When visiting/staying at your home, I can keep to your schedule and adapt to your environment. I'm a clean and relatively quiet person myself. I'm also courteous and conscious of other people's space.

A typical day
My neighborhood is great for walking. There are fun little wooded neighborhood short-cuts between streets and circles. There are also a couple different parks with large grassy areas for playing.

I work part time at a local beer bar on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays 1-6pm. So I have lots of extra time to watch, care for and walk pets.
