I had a 50lb Golden Doodle for 10.5 years and a 12lb Yorkie Maltese for 15, but both have crossed the rainbow bridge. The Golden Doodle had a number of health issues, so I’m very comfortable with giving oral medication. The Yorkie Maltese was a grumpy old man most of his life, so I'm used to dealing with seniors and sass. I require a meet and greet before providing any services in order to make sure your dog and I are a good match. That being said, a high energy/extremely strong dog would do better with a different sitter/walker than myself. I prefer to only care for dogs that have been spayed or neutered. I don't always offer boarding, but when I do, the boarding fee covers a 24-hour period. If you require additional hours outside of 24 hours, an extended care rate will automatically be added by Rover.

Missy willingly took our booking for day care, less than 24 hours in advance. She gave Tommy a great walk that he appreciated! She also kept us updated with texts and photos through the day. She took one of the best photos I have of Tommy! Also, she completed a card for him at the end of the day, so we knew all the details. Excellent service, will use her again if we come back to Bozeman!

I live in a second-floor condo. I make sure to always leash the dog before opening the door and do not unleash until we are safely back inside. There is plenty of green space directly surrounding my building, but also plenty of places to walk in the neighborhood. I follow the rules you've implemented for your dog in your home, so whether or not they're allowed on the furniture or in the bed is up to you.

A typical day
Since I work from home, I'm able to take your dog out as often as needed. There are a lot of great places for a walk in my neighborhood, so your dog will get the exercise he or she needs -- just let me know how far they usually walk and how often. I am not a runner, so high energy dogs that need a lot of exercise will do better with a different sitter. If your dog is a couch potato, I'm 100% down for just hanging out at home. FYI: I live on the 2nd floor, just in case your dog has mobility issues. Also, my husband will be present, so please do not request services if your dog has aggression towards or fear of men.
