Pet care experience
I've been raising dogs on my own for the last 20 years and started dog walking and pet sitting when I first moved to Chicago about 15 years ago. I took a pause in pet care the last few years to focus my attention on my own elderly English Bulldog until her passing. I have recently moved back to Honolulu to care for my mother. I would love to provide your furry friend a little company and fun while you're away at work through walks, drop ins, or doggy day care in my home in Makiki. I live with my mother and auntie, so while your pup is in our home they will be surrounded by love, affection, and consistent attention. Our home is spacious and open with a large lanai and a fenced yard. I know we focus on dogs a lot on Rover, but I have experience with cats and birds as well.

Missy did a great job with our hyper little puppy. She walked her 4 days and helped our little gal burn some energy. She was resourceful when weather hit and found alternative ways to keep our baby active. We were very thrilled with her service!

I live in a condo in Makiki with a large lanai and a fenced in yard downstairs and Makiki Park right down the street! If I am doggy day sitting for you and your dog enjoys the great outdoors I would love to take them to the beach or hiking (I even have a hiking backpack for carrying smaller pups!).

I have a lot of experience with high needs dogs after caring for clients’ and my own senior pets with complex medical requirements, so I would be more than happy to fulfill those needs if you inform me ahead of time. Also, please let me know about any behavior issues so I can adjust our activities to suit your pups day!
A typical day
Like I mentioned above, I love to go to the beach and hike! For walks, your pup will get a power walk or a jog in (if they can keep up with me!). I’m pretty active, so if I’m doggy day caring for you, they will be by my side on my own daily walks, hikes, beach time, errands etc. Of course, every pup is different so I will adjust our day to accommodate them as I get to know them. If you have a young pup, I can help continue whatever walking and training techniques you’ve been instilling.

My schedule is very open! I’m working part time from home so my days are incredibly flexible - I am confident we will find a schedule that works for all of us.
