I have always loved dogs and prior to adopting my own, I would help care for friends' and neighbors. I have adopted not 1, not 2 but 3 dogs in less than 2 years. Two were foster fails (which I don't love that term because it is a total win for me). I have fostered 25 dogs in less than a year that spanned from adults to a mama and her litter. They have all had different temperments and I have learned so much about caring for dogs through them as well as my own. I feel like when I am not working (I'm a Personal Trainer) everything I do is centered around dogs! I spend lots of time with my own as well as fosters and volunteering often for a rescue. So I figure why not help out my neighbors now when they are in a jam or away from home for an extended period of time? I totally understand the importance of having people you can trust and rely on to help out with your fur babies. They are family afterall!
