For the past few years I've been working by myself with helping the stray cats around my neighborhood. I'll usually foster one or two at a time, and prioritize those who are pregnant. I'll help them with their vaccinations and getting spayed/neutered. When they're lively and healthy enough I'll put them up for adoption and try my best to get them a loving family. I would do it with dogs as well but stray dogs are not common in my community. When I was younger and lived in a different area I would take in any dog I found on the street. My mom would help me put up flyers incase they were lost pets (which most of them were). I never minded having new pets in my home and most tended to be comfortable around me. It's always fun going out with them as well and being as physically active with them as needed. I'm very flexible when it comes to what they might need from needing cuddles and time to relax to mutliple walks or runs.
