Pet care experience
I am a very patient and experienced pet owner. I have cared for many pets such as dogs, cats, birds, chickens, a horse, a cow, turtles, and fish. By far my favorite animals to care for have been dogs, at my parents' house we currently have a 5-year-old golden retriever, a 2-year-old German shorthair pointer, and a 1-year-old miniature poodle. All have different temperaments but I love and care for them the same and as a pet sitter you can expect the same treatment extended to your dog. I am eager to meet your furry friends!

I am attentive to their needs while maintaining healthy boundaries. For example, when cooking chicken my dog can get excited but has learned that she will only be able to have this “high value treat” if she stays in her “down position” from a safe distance. It’s a win win situation. I get ease of mind that she won’t be splattered with oil and she gets yummy chicken. I am also aware of my surroundings and will always be on guard especially when approached by other dogs in public settings. Our safety comes first.

A typical day
I enjoy taking my dogs to the park for their daily walks and playing fetch until the sun sets! This is crucial to having a well behaved pet in your home.

Availability
I work weekdays so I have to plan to set my pets up for success. Before work I make sure my pets have water and food. After work I engage in play time and take my dogs on a long walk. Then we get home ready for a peaceful evening. Weekends are fun - we try to soak up as much sun as possible and treat ourselves.
