Pet care experience
I am a dog and cat lover who also has a Yorkie named Luna. Before I had her, I had a Maltese named Puppy who was given to me when she was 7 years old. Luna is my life and I spoil her with love and kisses. She is 2 years old. I also live in Astoria, Queens. I adore all types of animals. Animals especially dogs show so much love like a mother to their child. The owner is their whole world and would protect his/her from any type of danger. A dog's actions tells us a lot about how they feel and what they want. To me they are the best companion any person can have. I will treat your pet like I treat my own with.. love, kindness and compassion. I am available every day and in the evenings. I hope to hear from my fellow animal lovers, Miriam Piedade

This was my first experience with Miriam and she was wonderful! For others who are thinking of engaging her as their cat sitter, I would say you can rely on her to be kind, considerate, thoughtful and trustworthy. My kitty Biscuit is shy and likes to hide, and often doesn't come out to interact when she first meets people. She didn't come out for Miriam during her meet and greet. Miriam persevered during her hour-long drop-in and made special efforts to win Biscuit over, even getting on the floor to be at Biscuit's level and taking a picture of her from under my couch. She kindly followed all my specific directions about feeding, door locks, etc. and left a prompt Rover Card with a full report and 7 photos. Everything was exactly in order when I got back a few hours later. Biscuit and I are so grateful to have found Miriam. Thank you again, Miriam - obrigado! :)
Miriam Is the best! She comes in to look after my 8 cats (I do reacue), and they all love her. Not only does she feed them all and clean 6 litter boxes 2-3 times a day, but she plays with them, and send me the cutest photos of them on her lap, chasing birds in Cat Tv, and their interactions. I started a job which has me travelling, which caused a lot of stress. But thankfully I found Miriam on this app, and I’m now at peace when I have to go away. She genuinely loves animals, and is also just the nicest person! Thanks, Miriam!!

I live in a private home with a backyard so my dog has the advantage of having her own yard to do her business and also to play around. In my clients home I always keep an eye on his or her own dog or cat and make sure he/she is safe.

I would like to know the dog and cat’s personality. For example, is she/he aggressive? Very active? Is your dog scared of people or other dogs? I don't have a breed preference.
A typical day
I will take your dog(s) to the park and/or dog park with your permission if there's one nearby. I'll play with him/her all the I will keep him/her safe. I will always bring a dog water bottle to make sure they are always hydrated.
