Hello, I’m Miranda! I am passionate about running, working-out, hiking, coffee, photography, and plant-based and sustainable living, and am thrilled you are considering me to spend time with your furry friend! I have been surrounded by pets all my life, whether it be my own pets, or my extended family's farm animals. But no matter what, I have always had a special love for dogs. After my multi-poo dog of 10 years passed away in 2018, I have learned how precious these pups’ lives are, and am loving spending time with dogs of any breed and age. I am a part time self-employed freelance photographer and photo editor, so working from home means I have quite a bit of time on my hands, and what better way to spend it than being outdoors with a hiking or walking buddy! Miranda took care of my two cats and 5 month old puppy for 5 days. She did an amazing job, took the dog on long walks every day, and kept me updated throughout the process. She house sat for me and kept the place as clean as I left it. I highly recommend her.
Miranda was very good with my Boo cat! He can be picky as to who he lets in. She went beyond what was asked of her and her reports were thorough right down to his mood.

Information Miranda S. would like to know about your pet
I would love to know as much as you can tell me about your pup. Knowing their past helps me ensure I can give them the best care possible. Here's a few things that i'd love to know first: 1. Is your pup ok with kids? I live downstairs from 2 kids, and I always would love a heads up if I should keep your dog away from them! 2. Does your pup have any triggers/fears (whistles, sounds, other breeds of dogs, people, cars, skateboards...) 3. Does your dog experience any separation anxiety? 4. Does your dog take any medications or have any allergies?
A typical day
The majority of the time I walk dogs in or near their own neighbourhood, unless requested otherwise. I love parks and trails like Mundy park and Rocky Point Park (the doggy ice cream at rocky point park is a great treat). I love off leash dog parks, and it is always great to see dogs interact freely wth each other (Saying this, I am cautious with which dogs I bring to off leash dog parks, and will consult with you first before bringing your pup to one).
