Miranda's Pet Care
Pet care experience
I know firsthand that finding the right pet sitter or dog walker is extremely important and can be nerve-wracking. I look for someone who is trustworthy and would treat my pets like family, and that is exactly what I will do for you and your pets. I have always loved animals and grew up with dogs and many small animals (guinea pigs, hamsters, mice, hedgehog, birds, and more). My husband Shane and I have two senior dogs, Kaito and Takai, who we've raised since they were puppies, and we are versed in puppy care, senior care, and in between. For many years we have provided pet sitting and care for our friends and family and have always enjoyed watching after their babies. I love getting to provide pet care services full time and would love to take care of your babies and give you peace of mind knowing they’re very well taken care of and in loving hands. I have volunteered at animal shelters, taking care of the animals and walking the dogs. We loved taking in fosters, helping train and socialize them, and giving them lots of attention and love like one of our own. When fostering and pet sitting, we do everything we can to make them feel comfortable and loved while they're with us. I also have a lot of experience with administering medication, and I am Pet CPR and First Aid Certified.
Reviews
Miranda is so good with our dogs. We have left them with her 3-4 times and they come back happy. She sends daily updates so we never have to worry!
I used Miranda’s services twice. Both times she was amazingly gracious to my odd hours and last minute changes to timelines. The most telling thing of all is that on the second day my dog was eager to return when we pulled up in front of her home. I do not know when I will need her services again however I have a high degree of confidence in her service based upon my experience this far.
Perfect! He hates the rain even though we got him in the PNW so that doesn’t suprise me! Thank you so much!!!
Miranda once again went above and beyond for my dog! She sends updates everyday and you can just tell she LOVES animals. This is the second time I’ve used her and I will continue to use her in the future! It’s so scary leaving your animals but I know Miranda loves my dog as much as her own. Will recommend her to everyone in need of a sitter!

Information Miranda M. would like to know about your pet
We have boarded pups of all different ages and sizes, but with two doggos of our own, boarding pups from multiple families at once, and wanting your fur kids to be comfortable, I’d love to know a few extra pieces of information. Spayed or neutered? Fixed pups only (except for puppies under 4 months). Up to date on vaccines and preventatives? All visiting dogs must be current on vaccines and on flea and tick preventatives. History of aggression? Non-aggressive dogs only, please. We have two sweet dogs and will board dogs from multiple families at once so I want to make sure everyone will get along and be safe. I do understand that incidences may occur with even the friendliest of pups so I always keep an eye on everyone and have plenty of gates and a kennel available if needed. Diet restrictions, allergies, health issues, or medication? Please inform me of any diet restrictions and I will follow your instructions. If they have any allergies, health issues, or medications they need to take, just let me know and I can avoid allergens, keep an eye out for any symptoms, and can administer medication as specified. I have experience with all of the above and want to make sure to provide the best care possible for your pets. Exercise routine? I would love to take your dogs on walks, play fetch, take them to the park with your permission, and do whatever they love to do to get some exercise. Or if they love to just snuggle on the couch, I’m down for that as well! Just let me know what their favorite activities are and I’ll make sure they’re having fun! House and sleeping routine? We allow animals on the furniture and in bed (unless you normally keep them off then we will follow suit!) and we have plenty of blankets, several dog beds throughout the house, and even a pup couch with blankets and pillows. So your pets will have many comfy places to hang out and nap. If they always sleep in bed with you at night, they are more than welcome to do that here, too! If they are normally kenneled at night or when you are out of the house, please bring their kennel and we can follow suit on that as well. We have a large kennel that can be used if you don’t want to lug yours to our house, but if you need a smaller one for the small babies then please bring that with you. Anything else for a fun stay? Feel free to let me know of any other information about your pet that would allow for a fun and comfortable stay! Does he or she have a favorite toy? Quirks? House-trained? Behavioral issues, things that cause or help anxiety? Favorite indoor and outdoor activities? Specific eating or potty times? Anything about your babies that would help me make them feel right at home!
A typical day
During your furbaby's stay with me, they'll enjoy walks around the neighborhood, a kiddie pool in my backyard during warm days, and field trips with your permission. I live near several parks with wonderful trails to go on walks and hikes. During cold or rainy days, we'll still have a lot of fun play time and cuddle time at the house! We have tons of dog toys, stuffies and tennis balls to play with, as well as blankets, dog beds, a pup couch, and many comfy places to relax and nap. There will also always be unlimited pets and snuggles given throughout their stay!
