I'm a nonprofit fundraiser and community wellness advocate, traveler, yogi, and mountain climber. I'm also the one distracted from our conversation because a dog walks by. I'm thrilled to have recently adopted a new fur baby. She is a sweet ten pound terrier mutt who loves other dogs, large and small, as long as they respect her small size. As a lifelong athlete and outdoorswoman, I can usually be found exploring forest trails, mountains, and lakes. Dogs have always been an important part of my home life and I began working professionally with them many years ago, including a stint at a dog adventure camp focused on running and hiking large packs of off-leash dogs in the Oregon wilderness. My schedule is very flexible with added availability for repeat clients. Big, small, shy or outgoing; your dog and I will become fast friends. I look forward to meeting you and your canine companion!

Miranda is a very caring, loving and responsible person. She loves dogs so much and makes me feel like she loves my dogs as if they were her own dogs. She enjoys the outdoors and is always taking the dogs for walks and adventures. I know that when my dogs are in her care that they are happy and safe. Your dogs would be so lucky to have her take care of them.
I have known Miranda Hansen for almost 20 years. We are both ardent animal lovers, and she has provided care for my dogs (border collie mix, pit bull and chihuahua mix). She has also rescued 2 of her own dogs and has helped them blossom into the most amazing 4-legged buddies. Miranda is extremely patient and knowledgeable about dogs of all shapes, sizes and temperaments. She is also experienced in providing effective and compassionate behavioral training and reinforcement. Miranda will send you adorable photos documenting your pup's day in her care, and always provides them with plenty of exercise and playtime! She is reliable and an excellent communicator. I love that she always provides me with a detailed run down of how my dog's day went. I give Miranda my highest recommendation and completely trust her to provide my dogs with tender loving care.
I hired Miranda to care for and help train Juniper, my then Golden Retriever puppy, for two hours each weekday whilst I was away at work. She turned out to be a golden investment in Juniper's future. She was very reliable, never missing a day without plenty of prior notice. She provides the perfect combination of consistency and love to the animals under her care, and it helped greatly to shape my baby into the sweet soul she is today. She also frequently took Juniper off to parks, both near and far, to run free and use up all of that puppy energy, which she didn't necessarily have to do. I highly recommend Miranda!
