Pet care experience
Hello, I am an 22 year old animal lover who is currently working as a veterinary technician at a local animal hospital. I have raised 4 dogs, a dozen cats, three flocks of chickens, and a variety of reptiles. Growing up I’ve had a lot of hand on experience with caring for pets. I have been working at an animal hospital for about 3 years now. My experience ranges from emergency care to routine wellness visits! I have been working with animals all shapes, sizes, breeds, and demeanors. About six years ago I adopted MY OWN dog and taking care of him on my own has been one of the most rewarding and enjoyable things I’ve ever done. I thought Rover would be a perfect way to combine work and what I love! :)

Miranda is the best - she's a cat whisperer!
This was the third time Miranda has taken care of our kitties, and we couldn't be more pleased. Miranda is dependble and professional, but most importantly, our kitties love her. They're happy to see us when we get home, but they're not at all stressed. We feel more comfortable leaving home because we know our kitties are in good hands - lots of pets and play, in addition to fresh food and water and clean litter boxes. Miranda, I hope you're available the next time we go away!
She is wonderful when she shows up. Unfortunately, she had a couple of no-shows with me which was very disappointing.
Miranda is so nurturing and intuitive about our kitties - they're not at all stressed while we're away. I love the pictures and check-ins. We're hoping that Miranda will be available whenever we travel!

I am always on time for breakfast and dinner, and that’s with the pre and post meal cuddles. One of my go to activities is taking the dog I’m caring for to the park to run around or even just lap the field a couple time. Exercise is just as important as the belly rubs :)
Information Miranda L. would like to know about your pet
I have a lot of experience monitoring food allergies as my own dog is allergic to chicken. Chicken is one of the more major allergies because it’s in almost ever dog product on the shelves. I am always open to accommodate.
A typical day
I like to make sure dogs stay stimulated mentally and physically. Just having a toy on hand goes a long way, especially for the young ones!! I also make sure to tire everyone out before leaving! Exercise is just as important and the belly rubs :)
