Your Pets Home Away From Home

Pet care experience

Hi There! I am a 29 year old who grew up with dogs (golden labs) and recently started fostering dogs as well. I work part-time from my home and you can feel good knowing you dog has company all day. When dog sitting, I take fur-babies on daily walks around Lake Harriet and am there to give plenty of attention and snuggles. My husband also adores dogs and helps with walks, potty breaks, supervising and play! Because my yard is not fenced in, I have the dogs on the leash at all times while outside. I haven't made the leap to owning my own dog yet, but feel that right now sitting and fostering is what I want to be doing. *** PICK UP AND DROP OFF TIMES - Remember that I plan my day around your pick up and drop off time, please provide specific times and arrive within a 15 minute window of those times. *** DOG SITTING - Please provide poop bags, a crate, long outdoor leash (for stays longer then 1 night), food, treats, walking leash, favorite toys, and pet stain spray for potential indoor accidents. *** FOR TRIPS LONGER THEN 1 WEEK - Please indicate a back up option if the stay doesn't work out and you're unable to take your pet (like a kennel, otherwise I will use Armstrong Kennels). **DOG WALKING: option to have a 3 mile, 1 hour walk around Lake Harriet or Lake Calhoun for $40 + can include play in the water

Miranda was wonderful! This was my first time using rover and my first time away from Oliver. Miranda sent me pictures and videos everyday and updated me on his behaviors. After the first day I had no worries about having him there with her. She was very responsive and wanted to take care of Oliver the best she could. I highly recommend her!

Everything about our first Rover.com experience exceeded my expectations. I was feeling really guilty about finding short-notice accommodations for our dog and leaving her with a stranger but we lucked out and found the perfect sitter with Miranda. Miranda was friendly and professional and responded immediately to our request for a sitter. She asked us just the right questions so that she understood Lupe’s temperament and individual needs. I was shocked by how easy it was to make the arrangements. Miranda had two other dogs during the length of Lupe’s stay and she was very careful to make sure that all three dogs were comfortable with each other and the level of socialization. Lupe had a great experience at Miranda’s- she went on walks, had play time, and was given individual attention. We received updates and cute photos while we were away that put us at ease. We will definately look up Miranda next time we need a sitter. Maybe we will even get away more often knowing we have such a great option to leave Lupe in Miranda’s care! She is right in the neighborhood, flexible, and really seems to enjoy the time she spends with the dogs. We can’t thank her enough!

Miranda was just great! She took my two dogs for the weekend and they were in great hands. As my first experience on Rover, she made me feel at ease and gave a lot of picture and text updates. I definitely recommend!
