Hello my name is Miranda! I am an animal lover and have been since birth. I grew up with animals and have previously worked at an animal hospital for almost five years dealing with dogs and cats. I am also open to pet sit birds. My whole household is made of dog lovers so your dog will get plenty of attention while you are away. I do order a bark box every month for the dogs I care for. I am a full time student trying to find work doing something I love (which is interacting with dogs). Eventually my goal is to start my own animal rescue/business. For now I just need to get through schooling and fostering one animal at a time. Before pet sitting your pet I would like to meet them first just to make sure we can get along well without you having to worry while you are away. Just so you know I do go to work and school. I would encourage you to look at my schedule and then if you are comfortable with the hours I would be with your dog I would love to arrange a meeting. My summer schedule would look something like this: Monday: work 10a-7p Tuesday: school 8a-3p Wednesday: work 10a-7p Thursday: school 8a-3p Friday: work 10a-7p Saturday: work 7:30a-5p Sunday: open I have 6+ years of caring for and fostering dogs and cats. For almost 5 years I have worked for an animal hospital in the boarding area and as a veterinary assistant. I also have a lot of experience with fostering animals(both dogs and cats) for San Leandro Animal Control and for the San Francisco based rescue called Rocket Dog Rescue. As soon as I raise enough money I would like to start fostering again. I like to take the dogs on at least one long walk per day about an hour, if not two walks (one 10 minute walk and one hour walk) per day plus play time with the family. I like to take the dogs to visit my doggy friends for doggy play time if requested. I will not take your dogs to the dog park because of the risk. Your dog may be friendly but another dog I don't know could not be. I would only ask that your dog have all vaccines and is flea-free! Why I love dog sitting All my life!
