Pet care experience
What sets me apart from other caregivers is my passion for dogs. I’ve loved dogs since I first saw one and knew that I had to in some way work with these loving creatures. I will treat your pets as my own, ensuring they feel well-loved and safe while with me. I am reliable and have respect for your home, belongings, and privacy. I spent a summer interning at PAWS Chicago, a no-kill shelter, and spent a year working for a pet care provider. I have experience walking dogs up to 120 lbs and up to three dogs at once. I also have experience pet-sitting within the family’s home, not only providing care for dogs but for small pets as well (i.e. Chameleon, fish).

Mira was great and made our pooch Ollie feel very comfortable. She also made sure he got both a lot of exercise as well as rest. She also provided some good video and cute pictures as well. We were very fortunate to have had him in such good hands for the weekend!
Mira has cared for and helped me with my dogs on many occasions, she is dependable and processional. She aliso LOVES THE DOGS AND THEY ARE ALEAYS THRILLED TO SEE HER. i HIGHLY RECOMEN HER!
Mira was absolutely wonderful. She stayed with us for a week. My babies were well cared for. She walked them played with them. When I got home they ran to Mira and then me. They loved her.

I am happy to provide care at my home or yours. At your home, I am happy to follow any safety protocols your family uses, whether it’s a security system, fenced, gates, etc. At my home, I have a fenced, approx. 1-acre yard for your dogs to run to their hearts' content. I am willing to walk, play with, or let your dogs out in the yard as many times as needed. I am experienced in giving medications to dogs as well.

Please let me know if any medical or behavioral details your dog has, as well as any procedures I must follow (i.e. how to put a harness on properly, what routes to avoid on a walk). I am experienced in walking and pet-sitting dogs with minor aggression towards certain triggers (mail trucks, other dogs, etc.) and resource guarding.
A typical day
Depending on the pet parent’s preference, I can go outside and play fetch or tug-of-war. I’m happy to fill kongs treats and freeze them, then give them to the dog if I need to leave for an errand. I’m also happy to use snuffle mats or treat-searching toys if you have any. I can take your dog on a long walk so they can enjoy the outdoors and get some exercise.
