I’ve known Minsey for nearly ten years, and during those ten years, she has proven to be one of the most caring and affectionate persons I’ve seen with any animal. Not only was she responsible and ensured her pets, Odie (dog) and Miko (cat), were always well-fed and followed a scheduled dietary regimen, she made sure they were given the near-constant attention and love that pets require from their owner. She held them, she kissed them, and she comforted them whenever they needed comforting. She always made time to play with them, whether it was learning tricks in the house or running around throughout the backyard. She was as attentive with them as any mother would be with her children. As Odie and Miko got older, and their bones weakened and ached, Minsey took time off work to care for them, because she knew that whatever time she could spend with them was more valuable and important than any meeting or any email. She cared for them as you would expect any caregiver/person would for a sick family member (e.g., visits to the vet, routine medicine intake). Since Odie and Miko both passed, I know Minsey has been wanting to share her love with any dog or cat that she meets, through friends, at a park, or at a shelter. I have absolutely zero doubts that Minsey would be a fine caretaker for any dog, of any size, of any personality. She’s not only got the experience for it, but more importantly, she’s got the heart.

Minsey gave extraordinary care to her dog Odie, always making appropriate arrangements to ensure Odie's safety and timely access to food, water, and walks for bathroom and excercise. When Odie weakened in old age, Minsey took Odie to professional physical therapy and administered some therapy herself, including nightly stretches and massages of Odie's legs.
